Why American Radon Mitigation
Your Trusted Radon Mitigation Expert
Your family has the right to lead healthy lives in the environment where you’re most comfortable: your home. Radon kills more than 21,000 people every year. It’s the leading cause of lung cancer in nonsmokers. At American Radon Mitigation, we want to change that. Our certified experts have a single goal: to ensure your family’s home is safe and you and your loved ones can lead healthy lives and breathe confidently.
Solutions That Save Lives, Not Take Shortcuts
Unfortunately, many radon mitigation companies are willing to take shortcuts. By installing cheap and quick solutions, many companies still leave your family exposed to the harmful effects of radon.
With an extensive background in construction, American Radon Mitigation knows there is a better way to do radon mitigation. If you want the solution that will truly minimize your family’s risk, American Radon is the company you can trust for your long-term health.
What Makes American Radon Mitigation Different
Many years ago, the EPA set a radon action level of 4 picocuries per liter (pCi/L). They chose this number not because it was safe, but because this level is what radon mitigation contractors could consistently achieve. At the time, radon mitigation technology could only achieve levels just shy of 4 pCi/L. This is why most radon companies today guarantee to get your radon levels below 4 pCi/L.
This is not acceptable to American Radon Mitigation. 4 pCi/L of radon poses the same health risks as smoking about 8 cigarettes per day. Radon is a radioactive gas, which means there is no safe level.
Our goal is to reduce your radon level as low as possible to levels similar to what is found naturally in outdoor air. In most cases, we can achieve radon levels of less than 1 pCi/L.
Our Commitment to Advanced Radon Mitigation System Diagnostics
Our advanced and comprehensive radon mitigation system diagnostic process empowers us to determine the optimal suction point location for your system. Through our extensive process, we’ll determine the ideal number of suction points and best radon fan for your home.
